Welcome to MERUZY Architectural Systems ("MERUZY"). By accessing our website (meruzy.com), submitting project plans, requesting technical proposals, or confirming custom manufacturing orders, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service.

1. Custom Fabrication Scope & Proposal Validity

  • Made-to-Order Fabrication: All window, door, stair, and railing systems supplied by MERUZY are custom-fabricated based on CAD shop drawings approved by the buyer or their designated agent.
  • Quotation Validity: Due to international market fluctuations in raw aluminum, float glass, and ocean freight rates, formal written price proposals issued by MERUZY remain valid for 30 calendar days from issuance unless otherwise noted.

2. Shop Drawing Approval & Supply-Only Partner Status

  • Binding Engineering Reference: Production commences only after the buyer or their qualified contractor approves and signs the final CAD shop drawings and formal itemized invoice. These documents constitute the final binding reference for all manufacturing dimensions, profile extrusions, glass configurations, hardware selections, opening directions, and finish colors.
  • Supply-Only Partner Status: MERUZY is a specialized architectural supply and engineering partner. MERUZY is NOT a licensed general contractor, architect, or structural engineering firm in the US or Canada. MERUZY does not perform field measurements, building code submittals, or physical site installation. The buyer and their local installation team are solely responsible for ensuring field dimensions, rough openings (R.O.), structural load calculations, and local building code compliance match approved shop drawings.

3. Commercial Payment Schedule & Strict Pre-Dispatch Policy

  • Initial Deposit: Standard custom orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit to initiate raw material procurement and precision manufacturing, following buyer approval of final CAD shop drawings and formal invoices.
  • Pre-Cutting Cancellation Fee: Cancellations requested within 24 hours of deposit payment (before raw material cutting begins) are subject to a 20% engineering and administrative fee deduction from the deposit. Once material cutting begins, the 50% deposit is 100% non-refundable.
  • Final Balance Pre-Dispatch (Pre-Shipment Departure): The remaining 50% balance must be paid upon completion of production and wooden crating, BEFORE shipment dispatch and container loading.
  • Pre-Payment Photo/Video Verification: Prior to collecting the final balance payment, MERUZY will provide the buyer with high-resolution quality inspection photographs and crating video walkthroughs showing the completed custom systems as verified proof of fulfillment.
  • Order Lock-In: Once raw materials are cut or glass is tempered, custom orders cannot be canceled or modified without restocking fees.

4. Absolute Limitation of Legal Liability Cap

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MERUZY’s total cumulative legal liability for any and all claims, disputes, losses, or damages arising out of or related to any transaction, order, or product shall in no event exceed the actual net purchase price paid by the buyer to MERUZY for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

5. Intellectual Property & Commercial Governance

All custom CAD shop drawings, technical submittals, rendering assets, and website content generated by MERUZY remain the exclusive intellectual property of MERUZY. Unlawful distribution of proprietary shop drawings without authorization is prohibited.
